PESO & CIMFR Certified — The Only Legal Option for Hazardous Areas

Standard industrial hooters — regardless of their IP rating — are not permitted inside hazardous areas. Any electrical equipment in Zone 1 or Zone 2 must be certified flameproof (Ex d) by an Indian statutory body.

Our flameproof hooter carries both PESO and CIMFR certification. Test certificates are supplied with every unit.

Zone Classification

✓Zone 0 — Explosive atmosphere continuously present (vessel interiors). Our hooter is not rated for Zone 0.
✓Zone 1 — Explosive atmosphere likely during normal operation. Pump rooms, compressor houses, solvent storage.
✓Zone 2 — Explosive atmosphere unlikely but possible. Paint booths, loading bays, tank farms perimeter.
