Voice announcement hooter with motor interlock relay — compliant with IS 3177, Factories Act, and crane safety rules.
Every overhead travelling (EOT) crane in India is required by the Factories Act and IS 3177 to give a warning before movement begins. A manual horn is no longer considered adequate — the driver's attention is on the load, not on sounding a horn at the right moment.
The MT-PSH EOT Crane Voice Hooter automates this. When the crane drive is switched on, a voice message plays — "Crane starting, please stand clear" — before movement is possible. The drive interlock ensures the crane cannot move until the pre-start message has completed.
